PROGRAMS-FIELD TRIPS:
Museum ‘Field Trip’ Program
The museum offers to all grade school students, a program of history and science that teaches and entertains young students.
By providing a “Hands-On” environment, they can learn about the variety of war paraphernalia on display in our Field Trip Program. The dual purpose of this program is to enlighten and educate students about the history of wars that were fought to preserve our freedoms, and second, to stimulate students’ interest in fiscal science. Subjects are electricity and magnetism, light, and lightning safety.
Museum volunteers provide students a historical tour of America’s involvement in WWII, by providing lectures and demonstrations with memorabilia. Students are given a “Hands-On” opportunity to operate and learn about restored military equipment.
